Michael Iacovella

Michael has worked in the financial services industry since 1989. 

Michael commenced the RetireInvest (RI) Chermside Office in July 2007. Prior to joining RI, Michael was employed with Suncorp for over 7 years and held roles as a financial planning manager and strategy adviser. He has also worked as a financial adviser and investment accountant for various financial services organisations, both in Brisbane and Sydney. 

Michael holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Investments and Finance, Bachelor of Business and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning. 

Michael loves keeping fit by swimming laps at the local pool. Michael lives in Brisbane, with his wife Shana, daughter Malori and son, Rocco.

Mary Rose Malay

Client Service Manager

Mary joined RI Southeast Qld in November 2018. In addition to servicing RI Southeast Qld clients, Mary also provides Client Services for our RI Chermside clients.

Before joining RI, in 2018, she worked for nearly a year as a Bookkeeper and three years with a non government organisation as a Regional Project Coordinator, gaining strong experience in administration, compliance, and project support.

Mary holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Technology and a Master’s in Management Accounting from the University of San Carlos. She also holds a Professional Civil Service Certification from the Civil Service Commission and an NC III Bookkeeping Certification from TESDA.

In her role at RI, Mary provides vital administrative support to both advisers and clients, assisting across a wide range of operational and service related tasks.
Outside of work, Mary enjoys spending quality time with her family, cooking, binge watching movies and reality shows, reading, and listening to classic music.
